About this event
The Rath Yatra dates follow the Odia panjika: the chariots of Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra roll down Grand Road (Bada Danda) from the Jagannath Temple to the Gundicha Temple on Ashadha Shukla Dwitiya, which falls on 16 July 2027, and return on Bahuda Yatra on 24 July 2027, as published in the 2027 festival calendars. The record is graded expected on that calendar basis; the Shri Jagannath Temple Administration publishes the confirmed ritual schedule closer to the festival.
