Expected record. The Attukal Pongala is the annual festival of the Attukal Bhagavathy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, during which women devotees cook pongala offerings at hearths set out on streets across the surrounding area; the main Pongala day in 2027 falls on 22 February. Temple festival calendars agree on a festival period of 14 to 23 February 2027, but the temple's official 2027 programme had not been published when checked on 27 October 2026.
