About this event

The Maa Kamakhya Temple's own website lists the 2027 Ambubachi Mela from 22 to 26 June 2027, with the festival beginning (Pravritti) on 22 June 2027, the sanctum closed from 23 to 25 June and the temple reopening (Nivritti) on 26 June 2027. The temple itself marks these dates as approximate and to be confirmed by the Maa Kamakhya Devalaya, so the record is graded expected even though the source is the temple's own site. Assam Tourism describes Ambubachi as Kamakhya Temple's most significant annual celebration.
