About this event
Telangana hosts the eighth Khelo India Youth Games from 11 to 22 December 2026, moved from an earlier November plan. The Sports Authority of Telangana's preparation updates give 27 sports and more than 6,000 athletes across six host cities: the Games open at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad on 11 December and close at the LB Stadium complex on 22 December, with events also in Warangal, Hanamkonda, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar and Khammam. Graded expected: the dates rest on the Telangana government's published preparations and the state Sports Minister's announcement of the December window, with the central Khelo India calendar page not opened for this record.
