About this event
The BCCI announced the five Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia as the centrepiece of India's 2026-27 home season, starting at Nagpur from 21 to 25 January 2027. The series is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle and continues in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi and Ahmedabad. Graded expected: the BCCI's own release page could not be opened directly at verification on 27 October 2026, so this record rests on the announced home-season fixture list as published and corroborated across multiple reports, and converts to official when the BCCI page or match ticketing is read directly.
